EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique, which was developed by Gary Craig in 1995. It is sometimes known as 'tapping' and can be described as like acupuncture but without the needles!
Gently tapping on the key face and body points can help to release emotions, clear energy blocks and to help the fight, flight, freeze part of our brain, (the amygdala), to calm down. A very useful tool for anxiety, particularly if you suffer with panic attacks.
The therapeutic effects of this amazing technique are recognised around the world. EFT is very effective and can be used for almost anything, including anxiety, phobias, limiting beliefs, weight loss, food cravings, stress, physical pain and many more.
I will firstly help you to identify a specific issue to work with, which, as an example, could be an old, limiting belief 'I'm just not good enough'.
Focusing on this issue, we will gently talk and tap on the points (see image), which will allow the body and mind to 'tune' in to the problem, often allowing the true feelings, emotions and memories to arise. We will continue to tap until we clear the block/issue, which will allow you to let go and move forward. Clients after treatment, often report feeling 'lighter' and 'calmer' afterwards.
One of the other benefits to EFT is that it is a very easy tool to use and easy to learn, so that you can easily use it on yourself after sessions.
If you would like to try a session, I am currently offering this for free whilst I am training to be a Practitioner. Please get in touch using the contact form below, or via telephone or email and ask for an EFT session.
